Tips for Flexo Printing

Compared with traditional resin relief and offset printing plates, flexography is a kind of photosensitive rubber or resin type printing plate, which is soft, bendable and elastic.
Therefore, in the process of printing production, due to different characteristics of flexography, flexography often suffers from low printability, difficult control of plate making operation, unstable quality, easy blocking, high cost of plate making, and low number of screening lines, which troubles printing workers.
Understanding and being familiar with the characteristics of flexo will help to eliminate these phenomena. Flexographic printing has a wide range of printing materials, which can be printed on various printing materials (such as corrugated boxes, paper, film, etc.). Compared with the resin letterpress and offset plates mentioned above, the mechanical strength of flexography is slightly inferior.
However, flexographic printing is a kind of printing method that does not need to adjust the ink, uses an anilox roller that can provide a stable amount of ink to evenly coat a certain thickness of ink layer on the image and text part of the printing plate, and then transfers the ink layer of the image and text part to the surface of the substrate under the effect of the embossing roller pressure to form a clear image and text.
